Gallagher has really innovative moves but alot of them seem like they'd be impossible to do to someone who's actively trying to fight you. It's just so fake, like rolling him into a ball. Yea it's funny, but why would he not kick his legs away. It's not like he just did a move to him that would at least make him dazed. That would have been more believable. Also the finish where Tozawa, who's knee was supposedly messed up, was able to deadlift Gallagher for a german suplex. That match was so fake. Entertaining but fake as hell.

What weird gripes to have about a pro wrestling match...

It's like saying that triple axels wouldn't work in a hockey game.

What has the reception to CWC been from the WWE's higher ups?

I freaking love it. It's getting back to wrestling basics like the old WCW B-Shows where it was just a hour of awesome wrestling. I really hope they do more programming like this because it's such a positive on every level. Cheap awesome programming for the network, exposure for free agent global talent and it's introducing huge talents into the WWE machine.

I caught the last few minutes of the latest Kendrick match. I love his look and everything about him in the ring. Really hope he gets signed.

They're going to put a Cruiserweight division exclusively to Raw so there's at least enough of a good reception that they're giving them a shot on the flagship show that is quickly sinking with a horrid looking title named so pretentiously that it's turning off people. lol

The cruiserweights will likely be seen as the bright spot especially if that title sticks around, they shove it in people's faces instead of taking the response and acting accordingly plus continue with a Reigns-Rusev feud that just isn't that good. Tag division is looking pretty good though.

If Perkins ends up in the Cruiserweight division, they couldn't have him lose early in the tournament. Gargano is staying on NXT, so Perkins looks better if he beats a guy he's going to be ahead of.

Johnny's pretty over at this point. He doesn't need the CWC win to elevate him and the knee injury enabled him to still look good in defeat. It also feels like the company is stretching him pretty thin.

Last night may have been the best 3 matches in a row I've seen all year.

Finally caught up and watched Cedric Alexander vs Kota Ibushi. One of the matches of the year for sure. Spectacular.

Good matches last night...seemed to have one of each flavor. Swann-Dorado was a high-flier affair, Sabre Jr.-Gulak was more of a technical/submission match and Gargano-Perkins were the battle of hybrids. I get Gargano losing but because of the knee injury from Takeover.

Is Brian Kendrick retiring or something? That was a lot of emotion.

He was advertised on Raw this week as part of the Cruiserweight Division coming in 3 weeks, I have to think he'll be on Raw. To the casual fan, he probably has the most name recognition of anyone else in the tournament along with Tajiri.

With ZSJ and Ibushi probably not coming over I have to think he'd be one of the top guys to introduce the CW division.

Oh yes, I love to hear this.

Daniel Bryan may be the best commentator in WWE. Gonna be sad when this tourney is over.

I dont know about ZSJ or Ibushi not coming over. I think there is a little bit of carney and coyness in their responses. Maybe not to tip the CWC's hat too much. A part of me thinks would they really push these guys so much if they weren't signed? They could have easily lost by now and a contracted guy could of gone further. I just think its odd that they would put them possibly in the finals or even win the thing without a contract.

A major miscue that will likely be edited off the show. Kendrick used a neckbreaker onto the metal turnbuckles and Ibushi, most likely not knowing that it’s a ten count in the U.S. (It’s a 20 count in Japan and teasing the 20 is a regular part of Japanese wrestling) didn’t get back in the ring and was counted out at 4:47 of a match that was scheduled to go about 10 minutes.

Since Ibushi was scheduled to win, but refs are told to call it as a shoot, William Regal came out and his explanation was that Kendrick used an illegal move to win and so the match would be restarted. The way the TV show was laid out, obviously they needed more time. The idea a match is restarted because a heel used an illegal move to win contradicts every rule of pro wrestling, but they had to do what they had to do."
