I think they'll hang onto him. If they deal Kane, he can basically do what Kane does (skate hit and miss the net when he shoots).
I wonder if something around Namestnikov would work (change of scenery, maybe Buffalo adds something like Franson to give Tampa a bottom pair Pp guy for the playoffs?)

Is he really this bad now? As an Oilers fan, I don't see him much, but all I truly remember about him is that all-star year. What's the matter with him? I would've gladly traded Yak for him.

Both 2012 1st rounders that seem to need a change. Philly really needs a center so it fills that need for them.

Boedker for Girgensons? I've been a long time fan of both players, but clearly Boedker doesn't fit in well in SJ. I think Girgensons would look great in our bottom 6. Boedker would give us options at centre. We could run a bottom 6 of:
Marleau - Girgensons - Ward

****, give us Ennis or Girgensons for Boedker. Let's just make a deal. Honestly I think both sides are better off.
Ennis is much more practical given his cap hit. Girgensons for Boedker has us taking on way too much salary. We're unfortunately rather tight to the salary cap.

Boedker is a train wreck and I want nothing to do with him. At least Girgs/Ennis still have potential. i'd rather have and injury prone guy, or a 1 year left RFA disappointment than a 3 year x 4mil guy who is effectively a black hole.
Before the season I would have done Zucker for Griegs.
