I started with Scotch and Rye then got into Bourbon. Mostly running from things when they got popular and expensive. That's why I love searching out the Amari now. Every one of them is unique.

Yeah but I understand the frustration especially if you were at the game.

This is definitely the low point of the season for me. After getting caved up in Toronto (where we barely limped to the final buzzer to get a point and where their top line had us pinned in all night) . . . This? Our first look at the Flyers and we can’t muster 20 shots on goal or handle their pressure on the puck? They were the better team in this game and we did not deserve to win this game. Nor did we deserve even the point in Toronto if I am being honest with what I’ve been seeing.

There are excuses but I can’t escape that we haven’t been good for weeks and got outplayed today by a divisional opponent on the wrong end of the bubble. And in a game we needed.

Forget results. We need to start playing even competitive hockey. We’ve been getting points the last ten days only because Markstrom has been standing on his head. We are generating nothing. The puck possession is horrendous. We’re pinned in our end repeatedly. We get leads in the opening period then try unsuccessfully to cling to them and suddenly look like the Devils of years past.

It might be a good thing that we are right back at it again tomorrow but then again it might even get worse if Ottawa caves us in. Maybe we can cling to our division top 3 playoff spot, get to the 4 Nations Bullshit Break and regroup then?

I can only wonder what it must be like in the locker room. This is the time not to panic I suppose, it’s a long season with ups and downs . . . But this is definitely a downer today in the bleak midwinter.

The Rock crowd was very frustrated all game… the misplayed pucks… too many ill advised passing attempts… horrible give aways… just sucked lol… I couldn’t believe the shot count…

I can't stand to watch #91 anymore. He's the definition of pretender. Last off the ice during warmups? Big ****ing deal.

Doesn't win a puck battle ever. Can't throw or take a hit. Misses grade A chances. Fails to clear pucks on the PK.

He needs to figure something out because he's not good enough for the top 6, but also doesn't play a good bottom 6 role either. Do something. Stop playing like you are trying to minimize mistakes by just avoiding the game. We could have kept Alex Holtz at 925k for this.

Oh wow so much agree with this. Seeing the game live in Toronto and watching mercer play 25 was actually too much. He brings nothing to the table except the odd goal. Zero. He is a horrible PK guy literally no defensive awareness. Should have traded him when he was worth a something at all.
By the way cotter is dumb as a stick also. Should be fourth line no higher. Noessen only real third liner we have. Welbmaybe palat too.
There is too much to fix at deadline. Until jack adds some weight we are not making any deep playoff run. Punt

I don't think a hot streak of a few games is what should define this team. The losing against bad teams and horrible play has far outweighs the good streaks.

The young team thing doesn’t hold weight. The core is experienced. Nico, Jack, Bratt have 6-7 years in the league all having over 300+ games played.
