I'm pretty sure Barré-Boulet stays up and Kapanen goes back to Europe.
II'm also pretty sure Struble, Barron and Xhekaj are the 5-6-7 (not in that order).

The only thing I wonder is which of Heineman or Mailloux stays up.

Engstrom Dobes Heinemen are going to Laval for sure.

A battle will take place between ABB, Kapanen and Pez

You cut one too many.

Also, I don't think we will go with 8 D given the youth we have.

So one of the forwards you are cutting will stay, or both if Heineman is cut.

Anyone on the waiver wire we should be paying attention to?

If Laine is out for a while, Frk to get someone with a shot on PP2.

But realistically, no one.

Might change when the last guys are waived from teams, but I doubt there's a bona fide upgrade to an hea;thy Habs team.

Like nobody better than Josh Anderson to play on the second line?

If ABB makes the team we are bottom 5 again.
Habs will keep 14 forwards. So ABB, Pezz and Kapanen will be part of the team with Laine out for a good while. The only problem with Kapanen is that he can only play center, and the team have already many of them. I doubt they gonna trade Dvorak and or Evans in a near future. And Newhook can still be a center like last season.
