Gibson is interested in Carolina or Edmonton

Friedman mentions today there's a lot of "frustration" on all sides. The Ducks, Gibson and teams they were talking to.

Thinks he gets traded this offseason
He could come in to Carolina in the offseason and Canes can continue to the the 1A 1B thing but Kochetkov definitely has the reigns now. 2 more years at 6.4 is gonna require at least some amount of retention as well

Canes shouldn't trade for Gibson unless they are playing him strictly as a backup. It is time for the Hurricanes to stop with the tandems and make Kochetkov the starter. He has taken a massive step this season and is currently 8th in goals saved above expected when sorting by goalies with a minimum of 40 gp (8/24). I really think if Kochetkov keeps this play up the Canes could potentially win an eastern conference game.

I look forward to the offseason 'Gibson wants to be traded'... wait, he never said that... wait, we won't trade him unless we get a kings ransom, wait, we dont' care about cap space or using the money to get more competitive... wait, we don't mind paying 10 million to our 2 goalies thread.

Almost as entertaining as the "Oilers wasted another year 2 top 5 players in the league with replacement level goaltending" thread that we can all look forward to.

You didn't find the Oilers coming back from a 3-0 in the finals entertaining?
