the play that pissed me off the most was when scheifele had his stick held and fell down trying to go to the corner and the blue was able to skate it towards the slot for free where scheifele would have been had they scored I would have been livid

I don't care when it happens even if its late in the game a blatant stick grab when your defending in your own zone has to be called

That was absolutely a statement game by the Jets. The Blues played well but were stopped dead in their tracks by the best team in the National Hockey League. Great job boys.

The Tanev and Schenn acquisitions are outstanding.

This Jets team continues to impress. They still tend to sleepwalk through the occasional winnable game, which is a symptom of the 82 game schedule. But this team gets it done when needed. Beat Dallas, finally got a win against Vegas in impressive fashion when they needed to end their losing streak, and sent a message to the Blues to remind them who is boss of the Western conference.

The regular season can't end soon enough.

God but I feel SO much better about the overall picture with that massive win.

It helps that the Stars lost 2 in a row but this win and the jets play tonight does seem take the pressure off a it. Credit helly with a huge save right after Appleton missed the open net!

I've beat this drum over and over with this team, but God, they sure know how put the clamps on the opposition and wrap games up. Schenn and Tanev fit like a glove in these games and add that playoff grit which is so comforting.

Missing 2 top six forwards and a top 4 defender - this team plays within itself and has done what it takes to get results when the lights are brightest all year long. Just a defensive masterclass tonight.

Feel really good about the boys taking care of business on Thursday. Here's hoping they put a stranglehold on the Central once and for all.

It's going to be a good Spring.

Looking like a pack of wolves. Iafollo puts a physical north south player with Connor and Scheifele and I like it. Connor is playing the best hockey of his career. Good to put St Louis in their place. Hopefully they lose all remaining games and miss the playoffs.

Well that had playoff atmosphere!

View from my seats:

Jets solid top to bottom.

Blues are good. I can see them taking Vegas to seven.

MVP was a rock again back there. Blues played a solid game but we kept to the game plan and limited chances. When they did get their looks, Helle shut the door.

Props to Tanev, Samberg, JMo and Fetts for great games.

Fourth line was awesome. Extra shoutout to Barron for scoring a key goal and anchoring what (org depth wise) would be probably be our seventh line wingers.

Might have more coherent thoughts in the morning but for now - craft beer corner never disappoints!

Perfetti should get a shot at 2C for a couple games at the end of the season and see how she goes with Ehlers and Iafallo.

This game was not close, the score flattered the Blues, there were so many tips up close by the Jets that just missed the net. With a bit of puck luck they could have blown the doors open on this one. Another great game by Iafallo and the top line. 3rd period was impressive. Blues were just behind 1 but literally didn't generate a single scoring chance by my count.
