Sadly I know what you mean. However I think when Freddy is rested he usually plays well

His record vs Oilers is 14-1-2 and .923 sv% --our chances look pretty good right now even if Matty isn't 100%.

They got to eventually move Tavares to wing, the dude is just too slow to be a center.

Wouldn't be to hard seeing as he plays with 2 centers, who is no worse on the draw than he is. You can say Nylander isn't a center, but I disagree. I find him to be more engaged at center. And he seems to have a better understanding of where to be in the defensive zone when he plays center. I think he gets lost playing the wing defensively, which is why he's seen as being bad defensively.

Vesey kills penalties and he does well there.

I've been hard on Vesey since the beginning but I do think he does better in a checking role. Barabanov hasn't exactly earned much to play over Vesey, even if he did pretty well in terms of shot attempts.

I'd at least like to see him sit a game or 2 and try someone else out there
