Don’t even take McDavid and Draisaitl off the ice. The intermissions and the TV timeouts are their breaks from here on in.
Can you imagine being their teammate? You get 5 minutes per night because your star players think you suck. No wonder they don't try lmao.Don’t even take McDavid and Draisaitl off the ice. The intermissions and the TV timeouts are their breaks from here on in.
Kane hasn't been a top 6 forward since his wrist injury. RNH is a complimentary player who needs to be out with one of McDavid or Draisaitl (or Hall before them) to accomplish much.Ridiculous. I'm supposed to believe Kane and RNH aren't top 6 guys? Mcdavid and Draisaitl have enough support. They played half the f***ing game and didn't score 5v5
They were on different lines the majority of the season and were on different lines all playoffs until Draisaitl got injured. With both of them + Henrique playing hurt they're loading up to compensate. They need to play on separate lines other than maybe the PP or important moments of the game. If they can’t carry lines by themselves like Crosby and Malkin did for years(their wingers depth was a lot worse) then maybe they should be mad at themselves. They also don’t even appear to try and use others lines mates well. They seem to either just look for each other and or try and do it themselves.
Well they have already gone farther than 24 other teams....
If they need a break Knob can just switch goalies to kill time.Don’t even take McDavid and Draisaitl off the ice. The intermissions and the TV timeouts are their breaks from here on in.

They aren’t top 6 players, both are better suited for 3rd line rolesRidiculous. I'm supposed to believe Kane and RNH aren't top 6 guys? Mcdavid and Draisaitl have enough support. They played half the f***ing game and didn't score 5v5

Oilers are screwed.
3.45 in overage next year, Campbells buyout, Nurses Contract, goaltending problems, is it time to move off of Kane and if so who will want him? New GM will have a handful of problems. Then does Leon D stay with the team or does who look to leave in 14 months? Then the question is do the Oiler trade and blow up the team yet again?
I think he was referring to the future of the Oilers, not this series.Negative intangibles for McDrai confirmed. They're too good - they make their teammates look bad, who therefore get sad for sucking and play even worst as a result.
Bingo - we finally figured out why Oilers haven't won a cup yet.
How are the Oilers screwed? lol
They're in the 2nd round - in a competitive series vs Vancouver. True that they are currently down 2-1, but it's a tight series that can go either way, and with a bit of luck they could just as easily have been up 3-0.
This round is far from over. Anyone thinking otherwise is out to lunch.
Gretzky and Lemiuex both only won with stacked rosters. Neither won with a roster anywhere near what this Oiler team is. Your take is off base, significantly imo.B…b…but, I thought they were “the greatest since Gretzky”
Truly great players don’t need help.
Look at Skinners save % and TOI for both teams. Outside the top line for the Oilers? Things are not good.Negative intangibles for McDrai confirmed. They're too good - they make their teammates look bad, who therefore get sad for sucking and play even worst as a result.

They have too high of expectations. Yeah the Blackhawks , Penguins, and Avalanche won cups with a few stars players and little goaltending. But they had a little bit more depth to themOilers are screwed.
