Surprised Zanetti only got bumped to the 4th pairing after that horrible game vs the USA which led to him getting de facto benched in the 3rd period. Meile is in for Nussbaumer though, not Zanetti. This must be Zanetti's last chance though.

A game is never gonna be even with Pasche in goal. Both Bugl and Quapp are significantly better. Also, you may have missed it but Switzerland lost vs Sweden already

Looking at the Swiss lineup with Garessus sitting and Pasche starting it likely won't matter...still curious how this keeps on happening at those tournaments.

Coaches didn't want him, Meier, Cavalleri and Hofer on the team so we're minus our two best defenders and two of our top forwards

Long story but wanted to train on his own and join up with the team later and the coaches/management said no and left him out.

In this game the Swiss have taken two early stick fouls and have zero momentum..
