German Football 2024 2025

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
That tall lanky kid who started next to Undav yesterday looked awesome, especially his dribbling

Woltemade has been having a very good year. Kid's a strong playmaker & creator, and has a decent goal rate...11 in 1220min...who could make a push for that Havertz / Kleindienst / Füllkrug role next to Undav / Burkardt

When Pep appoints you as the man and some treat you like the next iteration of Schweinsteiger, it's probably a tough thing to let go of, even for unegotistical types.

Lahm moved back to RB after Pep anointed him, and Lahm wasn't as creative or aggressive a passer as Kimmich...although maybe that's why Lahm was more willing to change back, he wasn't as effective or involved, and so playing midfield wasn't that much more exciting :-/

Ugh, annoying loss, but we failed to score when we had chances like the one they converted and our defense didn't regroup quickly enough after they beat our press. Until the front 3, I really like this roster, but in those creative / attacking areas we're just a 2nd division team this year *sigh*

Fortunate the 4 teams below are as bad as they are, with not a lot of signs of letting up in that regard (despite the Kiel win against you today, feels like Bochum has really been the only one showing signs of life). You really need some legit offense this summer though or next season may be rough.

Yeah. If only the pill-pushers hadn't stolen Boniface from us *sigh*

Mainz continuing to plug away toward a European slot, though hopefully Burkhardt going off was just cramping/minor issue and not something bigger. Would love to see 2 of Frankfurt, Mainz, Freiburg in a Champions League slot over RBL/BVB but it feels inevitable at least one will claw their way back in. It would also probably be real bad for the coefficient--Frankfurt probably holds on to a good bit of their roster, but a Mainz probably gets partitioned apart this summer...I doubt either would make any CL waves if in either.

Werder Bremen take an away lead against Leverkusen, bad back pass from Hermoso gets interrupted and then the ball is passed to Schmid, who puts it past Hradecky. Wirtz is on the bench, but at leaast they started with a striker, Schick.

Bayern Munchen meanwhile started with almost completely changed line-up, back-ups getting their chance. Guerreiro puts them ahead. Bit later Gnabry failed to extend the lead, hitting the post with his PK.

But Bayern and Guerreiro get their second goal, Muller heading a cross for Guerreiro, who surprisingly beat his two markers to get a header in. But Bochum strike back immediately, Medic from inside the box after a corner.

And Palhinha back into his old habits, getting a straight red couple of minutes before half-time, hard tackle on opponents leg. And it backfires 5 minutes into 2nd half, as Sissoko equalizes with a header.

And now Bochum lead 3-2 with 20 mins to go.

I can't find a clip of it anywhere, but anyone who has access, you should check out the feed of Dortmund-Augsburg and precisely 84 minutes. That about sums everything up.

Well, it's not going to be Dortmund, who lost 1-0 at home today against Augsburg.

Yeah, but Augsburg are absolutely massive, so that's no surprise.

Really though, they haven't conceded a goal in 5, and that was against BVB, Freiburg, BM, RBL, and Mainz. Thorup is doing a heck of a job there, if they had a real attack they would maybe be legit up for a European spot as well.

Wonder how many lesser BL teams BVB is going to strip players from this summer.

Found it lol

Very important win for Union Berlin to stave off relegation playoff fears, despite some late drama. First they had third goal disallowed for a handball in the buildup on their own half. Then they had a PK against for a handball in added time, but Ronnow was able to save Ekitike's effort.

Frankfurt's fight for a CL spot become much tougher with the loss.

Absolutely massive win, and my daughter's first 1.FCU game :D

Strong defensive half, but we're proably going to need to touch the ball once or twice in the second if we don't want to run out of gas.
