Bundesliga 2 is wild. 8 teams within 4 points of the top spot, 12 teams within 7 points. Magdeburg (will never forgive being unfairly sacked by them in FM22) now at the top of the table despite not having a win in their last 9 home matches.

Outside of Madgeburg, at least it's traditional bigger clubs fighting for promotion. I'd like to see Köln and HSV (finally) promoted, maybe Kaiserslautern too (it's been a long while for them).

Kane scores with a fierce shot for the first time from open play in Bundesliga for couple of months, Bayern taking 1-0 lead at Freiburg.

At least Köln won today, even if they struggled to beat Elversberg. But in the disallowed goal, the ball went out of bounds only because the opponent was allowed to pull Maina's shirt and slow him down. It was nevertheless a great shot and (disallowed) goal by Maina from a small angle.

Köln's players are both individually and as a team too good for this level, but somehow they still struggle to put opponents away easier. Good party crowd and athmosphere again today.

HSV also won an entertaining back and forth match against Hertha Berlin away.

Under temp manager, Dortmund faded to a 2-2 draw at home against Bremen.

They did well initially, going 2-0 ahead with two Guirassy goals after going shorthanded when Schlotterbeck got an early bath for DOGSO (pushed a guy down from back when he was through on goal).

Kiel can hold on for 18 mins before Musiala puts Bayern ahead from Olise's cutback. Musiala thus scored his 10th league goal of the season, although he did have a bit of hiatus in scoring, going 5 matches without one in all competitions. But that's now over.

I'm not sure if the grass being greener thing, but I feel like Tullberg giving Ryerson set piece duties over Brandt has made BVB much more dangerous in these past two games.

Tullberg celebrates a win over a relegation team harder than I've seen coaches celebrate league and UCL titles, as he hands it over to Kovac.

Such a weird season. Outplay but draw Leipzig (twice), Frankfurt & Wolfsburg. Beat Dortmund & Mainz. Get played off the pitch by St Pauli not long after losing to the 12th seed for 4 straight weeks. At this rate, we'll probably get a result off Bayern at this rate just two weeks after losing to Kiel.

2-0 now for Köln against Leverkusen 10 mins into the 2nd half. Linton Maina scored the second with a well placed finish into the far corner when through alone.

Edit: Leverkusen with a late 97th min equalizer, Schick again. Match goes to overtime.

Late penalty wins it for HSV. Can they actually do it this season I wonder...

Why has Weiser never been considered for the NT? He plays a position of need and everytime I watch him he stands out (and I always watch him against the likes of Bayern, Leverkusen, Eintracht, Dortmund)

Stuttgart go ahead of Dortmund away, 1-0, and to be fair should have had another one but Emre Can took the ball off of fat Undav after he had dribbled the keeper.
