Darn. Already have that one. Hopefully someone else claims it
I haven't gotten the 2nd one yet. From what I've seen the game play in it changed in ways I'm not sure I'll like.

No disagreement there. Might sail the high seas to give it a try and buy it if I like it but I find video games so polarizing now that I have a hard time spending $60+ for games I might not even like playing.I haven't gotten the 2nd one yet. Started playing it 2 days ago. I'm not far, but this game is amazing already.Clair Obscur, if you ain't playing this... you really should be. I had life stuff that slowed down my progress and then started over because I didn't catch on to a rather important mechanic that was very poorly explained in the tutorial and kind of gimped myself.
I feel like I may be coming up to the end of act 2 soon. Still the last act to go and a bunch of stuff that I had to skip because they are clearly near end of game double back and do things. But, when this is all said and done im pretty convinced it'll be one of my all timers.
I'm not sure what the end game is going to bring, but the early game brings some swerve too. Have fun!Started playing it 2 days ago. I'm not far, but this game is amazing already.
In fact, I'm going to load it up right now.
You too!I'm not sure what the end game is going to bring, but the early game brings some swerve too. Have fun!
I'm playing it on PC with an xbox controller. From what I've heard it lags less on PC during certain animations due to the increased graphical power, but even the loading screen for the game tells you it's meant to be played with a controller. I would think it's ok to play with a keyboard and mouse, but I haven't tried it myself and it's probably not quite as easy to time your dodges and parries depending on which type of switch your keyboard has.Expedition 33 looks like it would be a better console game than pc game. It's $50 on both Steam and PSN. I'm not sure which the better choice.

Me too. For me, it's still been worth playing.I'm bad at dodge and parry mechanics. They just make me angry instead of finding them a fun and challenging part of the game.
Me too, that's why im usually a tank with fromsoft games. The dodge in this game is fairly forgiving. Parries however.... much more difficult (but they should be, they are super powerful)I'm bad at dodge and parry mechanics. Even some of the dodges have been tough for me. I hit on about 50% of them. On normal difficulty it's enough to survive, but not to thrive.Me too, that's why im usually a tank with fromsoft games. Right, i didn't say they were easy by any means (dang delayed attacks) just a little more forgiving.Even some of the dodges have been tough for me. I hit on about 50% of them. On normal difficulty it's enough to survive, but not to thrive.
I'm also still not super far, still in Act 1. I haven't been able to play the last three nights, and only get about 1-2 hours on the nights I can.
I assume they'll get to go home at the end of the act and live happy lives.Right, i didn't say they were easy by any means (dang delayed attacks) just a little more forgiving.
I'm still in act 2. Will be interested at your reaction for the end of 1!
