I think I'll play it someday, maybe. From the actual reviews I've read and watched, it's a mixed bag. Sounds like it's a good action game with spongy but well balanced and fluid combat, but a mediocre RPG, and most have also cited that the dark feel of the series is gone. That's a bit of a shame, since DA:O main allure was that it's a dark, adult story in a dark, violent setting.

Finished Metro Exodus yesterday. Huge step up from Last Light a game i was pretty disappointed in after really enjoying 2033. As a gamer who really enjoys animations that game had some fantastic one.

PoE 2 launches today and im getting fairly excited. Feels good to start from launch so i wont be overwhelmed by 10+ years of content and game mechanics like there is in PoE.

Good to know. I just added it to my watch list today since Amazon pushed it in front of me, and I'm like a giant toddler who eats whatever magically appears on his tray. I was all ready to act fussy with it, but now I'm less concerned.

Yeah the first 7-8 episode have been really good. I haven't disliked any of them. It starts out really strong with the DnD episode imho

Eh, they made the skills pretty cookie cutter like D3 and D4 did.

You get like a selection of 5 spells to choose from, and each spell has 4 or so variations/buffs.

Guess i disagree. I use multiple skills from sorc for my ranger and same can be said for other classes. Its also EA and the game is still missing like 50% of the skill gems and or something like that.

That's fair. Just how I felt.

On a side note: I randomly came across a/the story of Musk streaming his 97 Hardcore PoE 2 character and basically having no idea what to do. It was an entertaining watch.

The games lacking builds right now though and needs some balancing but again its EA so understand. Some skills are easily better than others.

I have the game another go, you’re correct. The builds are a little more liquid than I thought. Currently rolling a summon arsonist.

Been rolling with monk and its by far my favorite class that ive played.

Enjoy POE2 but can't seem to decide on the class I want to stick with so not making any progress.

And new Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is out so POE2heading to the backburner for a while.

Let me know how you enjoy Kingdom Come 2. I'm waiting for the GOG version to come out this spring, unless I'm convinced between now and then to not buy it.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance was an interesting game for me. I had a game-breaking bug occur in the final cutscene, so I couldn't view the end of the game without going to YouTube to watch someone else's. I was literally stuck trotting my horse alongside Hans for over half the map. Just... slowly following him, hoping something would happen (a cutscene was supposed to trigger and wouldn't). That really got me unreasonably upset with the game and I never played it again, yet the best parts of it stuck in my mind ever since anyway, and I've gotten real close to playing it again several times.
