While it wasn't a "triumph"-type victory, Beterbiev deserved to get the belts.

Anyway, if you flipped their age Beterbiev would have ended him no doubt about it. He's getting up there in age, so I hope the rematch happens soon if there is one.

Oh wow didn't we were talking about it lol
Was PUMPED for Bertebiev man
He absolutely won that fight but Bivol was no joke!
Only guy I've ever seen mess up Canelo

But that was Artur's night man, you could see those punches hit like a truck
Congrats!

Yes he's a clown. Also everyone's disrespecting the goat HW.

What a fight Ruffy and Llontop just put up.

Indeed, Llontop is tough, he ate crazy punches like it's nothing. Ruffy looked great, can't wait to see him against a top-15, he called Saint-Denis out, but Benoit should not comeback now, Moicano destroyed him.

I'm a boxing guy but yesterday's event was a disgrace. There's no more worthwhile attractions.

The UFC card is much more entertaining all around.

Charles will forever get my heart rate up, Do Bronxs!
He's amazing. Probably the best PFP ground game in the world and he has elite striking. Just beautiful Muay thai rhythm.

Unreal 5th round lol wow
How did Charles hang in there jesus
Pretty f***ing cool from Mike too. He knew he was losing and said f*** it, why not? Lmao.

Sad, Stipe looked more done than Biden... Jones still ducking Aspinall. :help:

Jones turned into a devoted man, when he heard Aspinall's name.
as we all expected, Jones is delusional, look at the ages of the guys he fought when he came up....look at the age DC was when he was fighting him.

Jones is not a class act and quite selfish for not giving the next generation their shot unfortunately.

And the whole man of god shtick makes him come off as a total sociopath considering his past behavior

Beterbiev apparently offered him a title shot. Paul will never say yes to that. Ouch. That would hurt. Lol

Meanwhile, as expected, Paul offered Conor Mc a chance to fight him.

He’s building up a sort of WWE boxing aura, which is cool for kids maybe, but is disgraceful for boxing fans like me. I refuse to watch him until he fights a legit one. And he won’t, because that’s not his niche.

He somewhat did fight a legit one. A 8-0 B level Tommy Fury and he lost. He's never gonna fight Beterbiev he would get murked and he knows it. He also called out Canelo but that's just for attention. He doesn't really have the intention to fight him.

What Paul is good at is selling and marketing his carnival like schit. I'll give him credit for that As for the rest he's a low tier cherry picking boxer. He's all about entertainment first , legitimacy second. The guy should go to WWE like his bro. Would fit like a glove in there

He's so lame. Blud didn't even beat the brakes off a geriatric Stipe. Aspinall would eat him alive.

Usyk vs Fury II this evening. Bumping this thread, as it should be another amazing fight.
Realllly wonder how Fury does this time, now that he has to take it a bit more seriously lol
However in contrast, Any 'doubts' Usyk may of had in his abilities to beat Fury must be non-existent now as well
So like you said, on paper, should be a GREAT fight again

Only downer is its not for all 4 belts again (Undisputed), but I can see the winner of this one lining up to go get the IBF back

They're in Saudi again so if people wanna see this it's not at Midnight ET lol its gonna be more around 5-6PM

Can't wait to see what happens

Usyk is evidently the more technically gifted, faster and better boxer of the two. He's mastered almost every facet of the martial art, that's the truth. Champion in two weight classes, went up to heavyweight and when experts doubted his size against Chisora, Joshua and Dubois, he proved the doubters wrong.
My only worry is how much longer his chin will resist taking punches of much bigger/heavier fighters. 37 years of age, there is an expiry date to each fighter. Tyson Fury has shown his chin, though resistant, is not the same as it was before. And, there is no doubt Fury will land punches with his reach advantage ; I expect Fury to be in better shape for this one.

Anyhow, technique, skill and speed has, and will always fascinate me more than brute force and strength. I hope Usyk keeps demonstrating to the world how fundamentally important those elements are, and that they outweigh the latter.
