It's Catton's hands that wowed me on that goal. That's some skill level he's got there.

Nyman is starting to heat up after this slow start in Coachella this season. He had 5 points through the first 14 games and is now up to 12 points in 19 games (7P in last 5GP). Sale and Firkus have both slowed down a bit.

I was hoping, and there’s still a lot of season left, that Firkus would have a dominant season and be ready to claim a spot in Seattle next year. I like his game.

I think both Firkus and Sale need more time in the AHL and definitely need to put on more muscle.

I would not be shocked to see Nyman up sometime this season or even next season. He has size, can shoot and drive the net.

Good point about muscle. I watch a lot of major junior, and sometimes forget how much gym time it takes before you can stay on your skates against a seasoned NHL veteran.

Jugnauth had 6A's in Saturday's 7-2 win over Vancouver. He has been an entirely different player since his move to the CHL. Based on the ready, multiple folks said that he was just not used correctly in the NCAA.

Having seen him play in person far more than any other Kraken prospects, he’s the type of layer that you have to watch. He doesn’t stand out if you’re watching the game, but if you’re watching the player, you’re seeing a guy who does a lot of the right things.

Zeb Forsfjall logged his first SHL goal for the season the other day. A quite nice wrister.
Yellow jersey #33. 4min 48s into the video, direct link into that point of time.

He will represent Sweden the upcoming WJC.

Sharks fan here, how would you guys compare Berkly Catton and Shane Wright at this point in their development? Really excited for the future pacific rivalry.

Wright is the bird in the hand.

He has 12 pts in his last 11 games, so obviously people are excited for him. But not super excited. I'm not sure why, exactly. It could be just the small fanbase a little low on confidence right now. But Wright is also not a primary puck carrier and not the most creative guy, we tend to think of him more as a top six center who can do a little of everything, and most of our projections have had him around 60-70 points top six center. With his scoring outburst, maybe that's a little low?

Catton is more of a catalyst. He makes things happen. He's the guy you want in the final two minutes when you're down a goal. The upside is very high. But I think there's some justifiable caution with how small he is and his injury history. He might not be a center. I could see those two being linemates on our future top line, with Catton being the primary puck carrier and setting up Wright in the slot.
