I get that. Mostly. I listen to music the better part of my day. Anytime I'm driving. If I get time to slow things down at work, first thing I do is fire up my desk speakers. If I'm at home I'm usually playing guitar, practicing or learning new songs until I go to bed. So it's massive part of my life. But, I learned a long time ago, people seem to go the opposite direction when you get overly into or defensive about bands or whatnot. People are weird about music. Seems like there is something to people finding stuff all on their own. Must be something about making a connection, if I had to guess the why of it. And if they really don't like a band, good chance you're not changing their mind. Hell sometimes it's even if they've heard bad things about a band. For me, it's not like I don't give bands a chance. Lot of times I'll revisit something I don't like months or years later, just on the chance I might've been in a sketchy mood the day I heard them. Ghost...isn't one of those. Have tried 3-4 times. Just musically, not my deal. Probably not going to magically start liking them now. The Ghost fans didn't help it either. There are a LOT of them that are pretty over the top about it. So it goes from me just 'not being into it' into an almost full on dislike of them because of it. Mostly...indifference. Just the way it is. It's why the music thread we have going in this forum is great. It's generally just us posting a few vids and if the other guys dig it, cool. You got some new stuff to check out. It's mostly dominated by the 3 of us, but I think we've all shown each other a bunch of new stuff. But no one really gets over the top with it. None of us goes on a tangent if the others aren't into a band.
