OT: General OT Thread #44 - The World is Still Turning

Loved it. Hate that we have to wait another year to see where they take it.

I was a little disappointed with the pace of season 2...felt too many episodes didn't really lead anywhere. I still really like the show and hoping that season 3 will answer all our questions.

Had anyone watched Adolescence?
Pretty good miniseries but had to turn on the subtitles because some of the accents are as thick as pig shit.

Thoughts on Severance season 2 finale?
I thought it was very good. The problem was that the few episodes before lost a lot of steam. There are a few answers that I wish we got because there are a few things that don't make sense to me, but overall I thought it was pretty good.

I didn't care for the episode that followed what's her face.... looking it up... Harmony Cobel.
I honestly didn't see the point of it. Maybe it was because I was overtired but I didn't think it really provide much to the story.

That episode in particular really killed the momentum of the season

By the way, @f7ben...

Time to start munchin'.

Are you an elephant? Also though let me just state that out in the real world where actual performance matters Bogo would have been in a press box rotation for the last half of this season. Jiricek would have been getting games etc. We live in Hynesworld though which is like being transported into a hockey focused version of idiocracy.

Buy a couple of cupcakes shaped like a shoe. You bought them therefore they are yours, so you can eat them and still honor the letter of the bet.

Gotta love loopholes around the spirit of things. =D

I have been active on a couple of unmoderated snowmobile forums for almost 20 years now. We once had a member pay another member on a $100 bet with 10,000 pennies the he superglued together into a very accurate sphere. He then mailed said penny ball to recipient lol. That required a significant amount of dedication , ocd and disdain for the fellow he lost the bet to.

Man, I can't believe i let the changes from the books sour me on The Wheel of Time the first few times I tried to watch. What a show.

Also, if you're looking for some mindless fun I recommend The Bondsman on Amazon. Kevin Bacon is a bail bondsman who died, went to hell, and was brought back by the devil to hunt stray demons. Kind of campy horror comedy.

That should end up as the annual trophy for a league (sportsball, fantasy, etc.). It's better than a lot of the random college footballs rivalry trophies.
