It f***ing better be.

I don't care where you are as an organization... you don't keep a guy like that hanging around. It's a little ridiculous it's taken this long to move on him considering the writing was on the wall last year.

Can’t wait to see how this is anyone but Kyle Dubas’ fault.

How can a guy that handed out $52 million on like his 10th day on the job to someone who is now on waivers and another who can’t even get in the lineup for one of the worst defensive corps in the league not be on the hot seat?

Obviously you don’t understand his plan.

It's kinda sad but me too.

I was more or less checked out entirely prior to this.

To be fair I'm betting I will be again, shortly. But this is at least a tiny sliver of hope that this organization isn't COMPLETELY moony-brained.
oh, yeah, we're still totally ass, and in a week we're all going to be out until 2028, but the next 7 days of copium-fueled delusion are gonna be SO much fun! it'll be like 2018 or something.

Yeah I'll be riding this high right until I have to witness the Who's Who of dogshit forwards and their "there is no going TOO wide in the OZ!" offensive strat their illustrious coach has cooked up for them next game.

I get why the signing was made, but that’s about all I can say about it. It has been a disaster. I can’t necessarily defend the signing even understanding why it happened.

We were "trying" to compete, so we had to have a "legit" goalie without using assets to get him.

The decision made sense in a way. Just a shame that it worked out horribly as expected of every goalie contract between 3M and 8M. More proof in the bucket of goalies being (a) top 3 in the world, or (b) completely random or bad year to year and not worth more than a 2 year contract.

It's a bit frustrating because it wasn't hard to see things like the Jack Johnson signing. But the Jarry one was even more obvious than that. There was nothing pointing to him being a great goalie consistently.

Man.. the Graves signing and the Jarry signing L O L
It rules that we have the dumbest owners and GM actually

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE who has followed this team knew that Jarry should not have been given that much term. If it meant letting him walk, so be it. If we could see that, how could Dubas not have seen it? Jarry lost confidence several years ago and never got it back. While he may have improved from a positioning standpoint, he was fallen off dramatically from both an athleticism and mental standpoint. Barring a miracle, this signing will haunt the Pens for years
