He was only acquired to make the cap work in the Pettersson trade. That said, I'm not exactly sure why he hasn't been moved out since like Desharnais was moved out.

Heinen is pretty garbo but I take him 10/10 times over Dewar on a scoring line FFS

It's decisions like this that make me convinced he has to be fired at the first sign of mismanaging a top prospect. For the rest of this year and likely next he can probably be tolerated, but I am very nervous about him handling a Misa or Hagens.

I suppose that depends on your POV.
Most Penguins fans are probably cool with Malkin torture because it helps lose games. So they would say it has not.
Here's to hoping it's all worth it because this is the shittest possible way I can think of to send off the core.
