Since Rossi let the cat out of the bag, Ill fess up. I will be taking over as President of the Penguins under my newly founded "HF-SG LLC"

I am currently looking for investors as you can see I will be bankrupt in about 1.8 seconds.

Mate, cash??? If you can't get onboard with a QR code, a technology that has somehow come back into fashion, so i can transfer you funds from my eDebit EBT card... I just can't get behind this endeavor
Sid is in practice right now with a normal jersey
He's a freak

Sid also played with mumps while telling us he's fine as his jaw was fifty two lbs and a concussion so bad he almost had to retire if he so much as sneezed

He doesn't miss time unless he's really really forced to miss time

After the posts in the prospects thread about Wheeling wearing these jerseys tomorrow night, figured id share they are popping up at Tj Maxx/Burlington. Saw the Mario in my size and couldn't pass it up.

Penguins reddit (of course) has a thread calling out everyone who is not Johe-positive in regards to Sullivan. It's too bad that a great many sports fans have the memory of a goldfish.

You have to assume those who buy into Mike Sullivan being God's gift to coaching then have to consider Dubas as an abject failure. If Sully is as good as they say he is, it is impressive that Kyle assembled a roster that even Sully cannot get anything out of.

I'd hazard to guess they think both are just doing bang up jobs and we are the unluckiest team in the history of sports. That's the only logical explanation.

If he wins, good for him, but all this should show anyone is that there are two sides that are in a different place in their trajectory and that this should show how much they should part with Sullivan. Two things could be true, Sullivan is a bad coach for this team and that Sullivan is a good coach in general.

This is a team that is looking to move into the post Sid & Geno era and need a coach that will have a better understanding of development even if the NHL isn't for that, this is the path you choose as a team looking to get younger and get into the new era with a new face of the team. Sullivan clearly is a fan of veterans and needs basically an All-Star team to win, good for him, a team that does great and fails in the first round should be 100% after Sullivan and the Penguins should 100% be firing Sullivan after this season.

He won't get the Pens back into the playoffs. He won't make them better. That's not the path they're on and to expect that he will is pure ignorance by FSG & Dubas. I truly don't give a shit about Sullivan, if he goes and thrives elsewhere, good for him, as long as he's gone and this team finally moves on like it should, it shouldn't matter.

Nope Kyle and Sully are both great.

Also Sid is still a top ten forward.

Must blame the euros I guess.

Sullivan is not God's gift to coaching, but he is one of the best coaches in the NHL right now.
If/when we replace him, it will be at least one step down. Maybe more.

Nope. It is neither Dubas nor Sullivan's fault that neither of them has the Fountain of Youth.

Dubas, at least, recognizes the need for the team to get younger. He's been talking about it for about a year now.

I’m starting to wonder if he’s in a catch 22 type situation. He can’t slow down their style of play because the it’s the only reason the player’s want him around. If he would change they would then want him out.

I do find it funny that the US team is obviously not listening to him. He keeps talking about composure and three of his players were like “yeah we’re going to do what we want anyway.”

It was by the players via 3 way text message. They’ve already talked about it.

You can see Sully stumbling over his words during one of the bench interviews because he’s talking about poise, and control just after three of his players just started fights.

Oh those Tkachuk brothers knew what they were doing. No doubt they were talking to dad about 96 and asking how to get things going.

I don't think Sullivan could have stopped it nor would he have if he could. I mean, what are you gonna do? "I benched the two best players because they wouldn't listen to me"? Lol, yeah right. In tournaments like this, you are setting the lines and letting the players play. Coaching is practically a passive admin role for these teams right now.
