I felt we could use one for non-thread worthy stuff. General industry stuff, business side etc. CinemaCon is next week in Las Vegas there's several news expected from there, likely trailers released, release dates for movies etc. Some movies are screened in full, like the live action How To Train your Dragon.

Good idea. Sometimes, there's news that doesn't really fit an existing thread and isn't worth creating a new one for.
Yeah and there's a lot of stuff that affects more things that could fit here. Like a a well known director signing with a studio or studio making a losses, studio head changing etc. A lot of stuff @Jumptheshark posts could easily fit here too as he tends to hear about projects shooting "near" him. For example, since they're putting out theater releases too, though streaming movies could also fit in this, it might be worth mentioning that Apple is losing one billion a year on AppleTV+:

I only know about shooting mostly because I work in hotels here in th UKBthat cater to crews and partly because I have I friend who is a video editor who works for a popular vlogger and the production houses usually do things a certain way

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse

Release Date: June 4, 2027.
Directed by Bob Persichetti & Justin K. Thompson.
Written by Dave Callaham, Phil Lord, & Christopher Miller.
Main Cast: Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Brian Tyree Henry, Nicolas Cage, Luna Lauren Velez, Jake Johnson, Oscar Isaac, & Jason Schwartzmann.

Exclusive Footage Description: Sony confirmed that Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will hit theaters on June 4, 2027. CinemaCon 2025 also got a sneak peek at what the film will entail. The first look opens with the camera moving through a multi-colored prism of sorts, with scenes from the prior two films intercut. The footage then shifts to a quick succession of teases for what audiences can expect. Miles (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) are riding on a motorbike. The Spot (Jason Schwartzman) is sucking the color out of various environments. Speaking of The Spot, he seems to have the ability to transform into an arachnid-style form that sees him crawling menacingly towards our protagonists.

A big component of the footage is between Miles and the alternate-universe version of himself that has become The Prowler. Strangely, though, a shot towards the end of the teaser shows the two Miles’ working together with who appears to be Aaron Davis (Mahershala Ali). The multi-colored prism is then revealed as the film’s logo. There’s not much to this footage, but it gives us a good idea of what Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be preoccupied with.

My son just read the Breadwinner in middle school. Pretty sure he said he saw a movie, too?

Didn't Jumanji 3 already happen? Aren't they on 4 or 5?

Animated John Wicl movie coming before the 5th movie, from the days when he was the "Baba Yaga".

A long fight scene was shown from The Ballerina which was apparently good.

They were filming this in NJ just recently, they were looking for background extras with cars, I applied for the hell of it but I think I was too late cause I applied 2 days after nj.com posted an article about it so I'm sure a ton of people had applied before me already.

The Masters Of The Universe presentation apparently went really well. Travis Knight already nailed Transformers with "Bumblebee" and looks like he'll nail MOTU.
