General Fines and Suspensions thread (2022-23)

As many of you here may know, it's a pet peeve of mine when they claim they are fining a player the "maximum allowable" when they can legally fine them, typically twice as much.

They are claiming this time to be charging Sergachev, $5000, the "maximum allowable", despite him being a repeat offender, meaning his max is even more than normal - $12,972.97

Hartman has been fined 3 times in the past 18 months. Fines do not count for repeat offender status when assessing a suspension, so he can't be fined more money, but they can still factor in a player's playing and discipline history into the length of the suspension, regardless of recency. Hartman clearly hasn't learned much, and DoPS clearly doesn't care lol
