Do you think there's an uptick in the kids energy now that there's been a coaching change and Bruins are calling players up?

Seems like Lysell has come alive at least, with 5 points in his last 5
Bussi certainly responded with his best game
Hopefully McLaughlin plays more than 6 minutes but that was a good call up, I had heard there's a few guys not happy how things have played out so far, hopefully this resets the table a bit
Lysell is playing well but the organization is still frightened of young skilled players, doubt that changes with Sacco magic
Ultimately Monty wasn't much different than Cassidy

Not happy because they're still in the minors and haven't gotten a shot in Boston yet? Or not happy with their ice-time in Providence?

Any good bad and ugly?
A few random thoughts I have on recent play:

-- Brown has 1 goal & 5 assists in his last 12 games despite ample ice time (including on PP1 ahead of Lysell). He hasn't been as solid without the puck either. If he gets another call up soon, the team loses all credibility on recalls being based on merit IMO.

-- I wouldn't say Lysell has taken his game to another level this season. He has improved in maintaining possession and not turning the puck over as easily but he still loses the majority of puck battles (but that's probably never going to be his game) and runs a little hot & cold in terms of making things happen offensively. With that said, the low goals/points is misleading as he may lead the league in number of hit posts and is still generating multiple scoring chances each game. He's still arguably Prov's most dangerous player and IMO deserves a call up soon (especially since Boston is lacking in speed & skill).

-- I was optimistic about Harrison's performance in the rookie tourney and preseason. I am less optimistic now. He just doesn't impact the game in any way. His laser shot from juniors is non-existent.

-- Poitras has been good since the demotion. His stick-handling and puck possession continues to be impressive. He still needs improvement in finishing plays but his stint thus far has been solid. Now whether he should have ever been sent down or not is another story.

-- Farinacci is approaching biggest disappointment territory for me. He also looked good in the preseason and looked ready to step his game up but the stats (6 pts in 15 games) and performance have looked more like the second half of last year when he was largely unnoticeable most games.

-- Kuntar would be a close second on the Razzy award list. 3 assists in 14 games ain't gonna cut it. He gets points for the physicality and shit-stirring (though loses some points for unnecessary penalties) but if you can't produce any offense in the AHL, your odds of making the big show aren't great.

-- Duran also has underwhelmed but has picked up his game the last few weeks. I never quite bought into the preseason hype he was getting but, unlike most of the other guys on the team, at least when he is not scoring he is impacting the game with his speed and effort.

-- I thought Mast was destined for the ECHL after seeing him play last year and in the preseason but he's played better than expected. I'd still be surprised if he ever comes close to sniffing the NHL but he has held his own this season.

-- I've also thought Edward has been solid so far. I don't recall too many gaffes which is all you can really ask for from a rookie.

-- I haven't loved Callahan's defensive game in the past but he's been pretty solid this year. He would be on my shortlist of potential call ups if more injuries struck in Boston.
