They generally play hard and there's been some bright spots, been some disappointments too...
Thanks Eric! Just seems like we're using the same terminology to describe every facet of the franchise right now. No real direction or people filling expectations and the bright spots tend to be 4th liners playing like 3rd liners or guys who weren't expected to be playing finding roles.

Elite talent or prospects aren't achieving results though.

Hopefully we get to see a guy like Letourneau in a couple years having an impact.

Am I the only one surprised by this?

Callahan is a surprise to me. The stark difference between our two goaltenders is bigger than I thought. No Merkulov or Lettieri? Or Poitras for that matter?

Poitras being a prospect doesn't really matter to all star choices I don't think, and the fact he has only played 21 games there seems a non starter . Lettieri is the one who seems like a real omission

Our best guy (Poitras) is playing well,so there's that

Poitras and Lysell should be obvious choices for the middle six lines but Vinni Lettieri should get a couple games on the 4th line soon...especially if Kastelic is out for a bit

I guess McLaughlin is basically the same in that role but Lettieri is 3rd in the AHL in scoring. Just worth pointing out

Since he got in a game he seems more upbeat and playing well

By mid February they should both be in the top 9

Matty P with a -4 in the box score ...anyone who watched, did his game reflect a poor defensive showing? Just wondering what he still might have to work on before getting a call up
