2-2 our top young guys all lack second effort and battle ability. That’s why they look good on the PP only. They can’t create space for themselves. If anyone is on them they lose the puck quickly.

If it’s for developing young assets why are we not setting it up so that playoffs actually mirror the NHL and give them more opportunities to you know, develop?

It's because they put 24 teams in the playoffs, and thus need to have 5 rounds, which ultimately forces the rounds to be shorter.

If Lysell is less than 100% then OK. If this is a healthy scratch situation, I don't get it. Lysell hasn't been great in the playoffs but he hasn't been bad. Pretty much the entire team has been bad so far this series. Taking out one of your best playmakers in a series where goals are likely to be difficult to come by (especially in place of someone like Kuntar who has minimal offense) just doesn't make much sense to me. We'll see if more info comes out afterwards.
