I'm adorable! Lol. It's Olly's world now!
Thank God the Bruins have more sense than that, when it comes to him or any other young prospects. This scares me.

32 point players with his size and skill set dont play in the nhl very long. Not big enough for the bottom 6 not skilled enough for the top. Thats kind of my read. Especially for this management team who really seems to have gone back to their obsession with size with last years free agency class and draft
They certainly haven’t stood out much for sure. Disappointed with all three guys. Granted the defense is so horrid with their transition game it makes it very hard to get up the ice and cycle. While that first rounder should be used for a forward their second round pick they got to get themselves a defensemen that’s good at transition. Assuming that the defense is not considered a reach where they are selecting. It's not looking like any of Poitras, Lysell or Minten deserve to be in next fall's opening lineup, based on their playoff performance.

Sure but 32 point pace over age 19-20 seasons isn't bad in anyway. He is still better so far than all but 7 players in his draft class. And that's with Kasper being only marginally better than him, and MP has been better at the AHL level
But yes, if Poitras becomes that rare player who peaks at age 19, then he won't have much of an NHL career. And we do know how hard he works, so that seems unlikely
Correct and he lost the offseason between his 19-20 seasons due to a serious injuryExactly. Compare him to his peers... where he's still performing well above expectation. Development isn't linear.
I watch games tooInsert knee jerk reaction about 21 year old based on small sample size and stat watching.
Honestly, I only posted that to derail the Lysell hate train from gaining any more momentum. This scares me.
Only thing that worries me about his development is how his performance seems so tied to his confidence. If he can figure a way to keep his confidence up and maybe build a better b game for when he doesn't have his a game it will go a long way in his development.Sure but 32 point pace over age 19-20 seasons isn't bad in anyway. I wouldn’t mind using both the 2nds on D, to be honest. We would be very happy to have some young D coming up in 4 years.
