Providence Bruins General Discussion thread ‘24-‘25 II

It wasn't easy by any means (which may not be a bad thing) but the better team won the series. P-Bruins outshot Springfield 79-31 in games 1 & 3 in Providence. Kudos to them for getting in done.
Special teams were the difference. Prov went 4 for 12 while Springfield went 0 for 11.
Bruins' scoring depth finally showed up today. The vets stepped up when needed.
On to Charlotte. Bruins were 1-2-1 against them this season including 0-2 on the road. The Checkers allowed the 4th fewest goals this season (Bruins were 6th fewest) so I'm expecting a low scoring series.

PS: Only fair to give credit to Ortiz. He was solid today with few (if any) mistakes.

Glad they won makes the 30 bucks worth it and 60 if they make it all the way.

Don’t give up on Potrias. He has the skill and the vision. He just needs strength. Once he can fend off checkers his playmaking skills will be useful in the NHL.

I went to the game today. Ended up being a great time.

The player I came away impressed with the most? Patrick Brown. I know we all groan when he gets called up or call him a jag, but man does he battle for that team down there.

It wasn’t hard to see why he is the captain after watching a just a handful of his shifts. He is a true warrior for them and I came away with a newfound respect I didn’t have going in.
