Providence looks like a team that was waiting too long to play. Sometimes having that bye is not in the teams best interest

I agree. That bye week is killer. Teams tend to come out the gate pretty sluggish after a long lay over. But I have no stats to back it up. Just something my bias has noticed.

That line has been very noticeable this period. They feel like they have spent most of their time on the ice in the offensive zone

No, Yuri is 37 and retired from the KHL a couple years back . This is Nikita a 24 year old former 2nd round pick who has had some time with St Louis

Felt like Poitras and Locmelis were playing in the offensive zone most of that period. Both looked good.

Lysell also had a really nice play where he made a cross seem pass to Viel and I have no idea how it didn't go in but I'm sure you could probably figure out why

They did sign him to an NHL deal late in the year so they could have called him up, but he is 32 I think

I guess they have the same PP coaching in Providence as in Boston. I don't think I can watch Brunet skate the puck up to Center Ice and then blind pass it 40 feet backwards into his own zone any more.
