Jared Knight's issues were medical. Had he not had complications with injuries and his diabetes, he was gonna be great. It's unfortunate.

I cant believe people are still talking about jared knight lol. He was a 2nd round pick like 15 years ago. There have been plenty of horrendous picks theyve made since then. Lets not forget about max sauve while we are at it.(i thought he was gonna be good). Knights skepticism as an impact nhler started when he couldnt crack the top 6 in london within a year of being drafted. It was basically instant. But who cares? Different regime, guys like 35 now probably, plenty of suck picks from this regime we can talk about. Zboril, senyshyn, Beecher, JFK, lauzon, studnicka, vaakananien, andersson, lysell, poitras. All are either borderline nhlers or not nhlers at all and all were in the first 2 rounds of the last decade. Thats a high percentage

Max suave. I loved him. Super speedy. Didn’t get much of a look but every training camp I was impressed.

I’m upset about the Al Secord trade for Mike O’Connell

Horrible.

However O’Connell ended up drafting Bergeron & Krejci but made several bad moves as well

Secord got hurt in Chicago but was a 50 goal scorer

Good Crowder numbers when he was getting high 30's in goals. Still hate that trade. Would have liked to have seen Secord and Linseman on the same line. If we play the what if game do the Bruins acquire Neely if they have Secord scoring in the high/mid 30's?

Crowder for about 6 years was a heck of a player

I don’t see how you can write this kid off. He looks like a potential top 6 talent. Kids playing against men and putting up pretty big numbers. Has sniffed the nhl and I like what I see at the nhl level.

And sometimes you do gamble on the guy with an NHL shot in the 3rd round in hopes he will develop the other aspects of the game, despite the fact they often don't
