Pop up puck, Providence player boards a Checker as they were both looking up to receive the arcing puck. Not a smart penalty, Charlotte on their 4th PP with a few left in the second.

They kill it and good work with the puck by Poitras draws a call with 26 seconds left.

Oh well, 2-0 after two. That's at least doable(1:27 of PP time to start the third). 3-0 and I would consider them cooked.

Well, their season on the line with 20 minutes left down by two.

I didn't expect the Bruins to win today considering Charlotte has outplayed them for 80% of the series (it's a small miracle they even made it to Game 5) but this is a pretty embarrassing effort. It's a good thing the AHL doesn't make giveaways public because the Bruins may have set a record for the number of times they just handed the puck to the other team. The Checkers have just flat out dominated them. We'll see what happens in the 3rd period but this game is not going to leave a good taste in anyone's mouth. It's one thing to try hard and lose to a better team, it's another thing for a complete no-show in a win-or-go-home game.
