I'm with you on this one.

Right now, Bernier should be the swing player according to what he has showed on the ice. After last season I was hoping he was taking a step towards being 20-25point player this season but he has disappointed so far this season. Granted, PDB has played him everywhere and on ill fitting lines at times.

I'm still not exactly sure why Bernier is immune to being healthy scratched. I honestly can't remember the last time he did something meaningful. 9 points in 51 games and a -14 is dreadful. I'd love to see Josefson come in for him at some point. Hell, Loktionov has just as many points as Bernier in 11 less games. Either one of them should have a beef.

Yea, I'm not sure what people have heard/seen from Lou that would make them think he would consider trading anyone when were a point out of a playoff spot and have a favorable schedule down the stretch and are now fully healthy. He hasn't operated like that in 27 years, why would he start now? Unless hes absolutely sure he can get a first round pick then it makes no sense and even then I don't think he would do it. If he didn't move Clarkson last year when we were further away from the playoffs then we are now then there is no chance he even thinks about dealing Jagr.

The problem with these rumor mongers... is how is anyone supposed to believe that he knows that teams are MULLING making offers. There's absolutely no way anyone would know that.

There are tons of similarities between this team and the 2012 team, starting with the roster itself. Most of these guys are the 2012 guys. There more overall depth, we can roll 3 lines of scoring. The D is way deeper and can score. The goalies are a better tandem than 2012.

BasementCat is right, we are 1 point out a playoff spot and the east is totally up for grabs. This is the perfect storm for a deep run for us.

Hasn't Jagr been producing at Kovy's 2012 pace? The more balanced scoring makes up for Parise and everyone else on that roster is better than who they replaced. Clowe, Ryder, Brunner, etc.
