What I don't like about this organization for a few years now is that it seems to oppress creativity by all means. Players like Brunner, Loktionov, Josefson, Tedenby are forced to play dump and chase hockey where it is evident that this playing style is not suited for them.
I remember DeBoer saying in his first year that Tedenby and Josefson need to play a North-South type of game in order to be successful. When they actually looked somewhat decent, they were roaming in the offensive zone, creating plays.
I agree that a player has to be good defensively too, but we already have too many Pandolfos on this team.
A good coach doesn't try to force a system on his players, he creates a system that fits the players.
We have a fourth line and a couple of players (Zubrus, Zajac, Henrique) that are suited for his system, but half of the forwards on this team are not.
