Sardarian I think will get a deal. He is very under the radar, but I think he is similar to a Nadeau ECHL/AHL Tweener while they develop him.Update on ELC watch 2025
Marjala - no-brainer ELC, but does he see a path to NHL with Sabres?
Miedema - should be a yes ELC, but this is the franchise that didn't sign Hagel...
Leinonen - no-brainer ELC
Strbak - should be yes ELC, physically ready for AHL, sign him if only to crowd out Prow
Ratzlaff is signed
Poltapov - maybe 2027
von Barnekow - he re-upped with Malmo, no ELC, farewell sweet prince ...
Costantini - no ELC, maybe AHL
Huglen - no ELC, maybe AHL
Wild card is Sardarian. 6-1, 179, 6+3 in 10 games, he turns 22 in February. If he's better served to be coached in Rochester, I'd sign him in the summer.
Glotov was mentioned in another thread, I think he's aged out of ELC, but if he's PPG in KHL, 1 year $1.15 million why not, doesn't effect the cap, bury him in Rochester, give him a couple games in the NHL as a one time call-up.
The only questions I have are if Sardarian and Marjala want to come over and grind.Update on ELC watch 2025

Sardaryan is already here. He's in the NCAA, playing at Michigan Tech. The only questions I have are if Sardarian and Marjala want to come over and grind.

None of those guys would be signed to NHL deals for this season, it would be future deals for next year with a AHL PTO, and they only have 22 contracts for next year right now. They'll have room for those guys, especially if Adams trades a few prospects to improve the roster this year, and they can walk away from a few guys currently in Rochester as well.Sabres have 5 contract slots
