Kyren Lacey, wide receiver for the Louisiana State Tigers and major 2025 draft prospect (he's been rated around the third round), has been charged with negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle for causing an accident that killed an elderly Marine. Apparently was speeding, entered a "No Passing Zone", caused the crash, and fled around the accident scene without rendering aid, call emergencies services, or report his involvement.

What a guy. I hope they throw away the f***ing key to the cell he'll be locked in.

What a POS. He declared for the draft two days after the accident and was most likely thinking he would get away with this. Just no conscience whatsoever.

Update on the Kyren Lacy situation.

Former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy, accused of causing a crash that killed a 78-year-old man on Dec. 17 and then fleeing the scene without rendering aid or calling authorities, turned himself in to authorities Sunday night, was jailed and then released on $151,000 bail, according to police records.

Lafourche (Louisiana) Parish Sheriff's Office records indicate that Lacy was charged with negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run with death and reckless operation of a vehicle.

A warrant had been issued for Lacy's arrest, and police on Friday said they had been in contact with Lacy and his attorney to turn himself in.

According to a news release from Louisiana State Police on Friday, Lacy was allegedly driving a 2023 Dodge Charger on Louisiana Highway 20 and "recklessly passed multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed by crossing the centerline and entering the northbound lane while in a designated no-passing zone."

"As Lacy was illegally passing the other vehicles, the driver of a northbound pickup truck abruptly braked and swerved to the right to avoid a head-on collision with the approaching Dodge," a Louisiana State Police news release said.

"Traveling behind the pickup was a 2017 Kia Cadenza whose driver swerved left to avoid the oncoming Dodge Charger. As the Kia Cadenza took evasive action to avoid impact with the Dodge, it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a southbound 2017 Kia Sorento."

Police alleged that Lacy, 24, drove around the crash scene and fled "without stopping to render aid, call emergency services, or report his involvement in the crash."

Herman Hall, of Thibodaux, Louisiana, who was a passenger in the Kia Sorento, later died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to state police. Hall was 78.

The drivers of the Cadenza and Sorento also sustained moderate injuries, according to police.

Lacy's agent, Rocky Arceneaux, said in a statement that his client is "fully cooperating with the authorities."

Lacy played two seasons at Louisiana before transferring to LSU in 2022. This past season, he had 58 catches for 866 yards with nine touchdowns and declared for the NFL draft on Dec. 19, two days after the crash.
 

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Oregon Ducks wide receiver from their 2024 team was arrested in Springfield earlier this week in connection with a Christmas Day pistol-whipping in California.

Ryan Tristan Chance Taylor — who played under the name Ryan Pellum — allegedly used a 9mm pistol to assault someone on December 25 in Long Beach, California. Court documents obtained by KOIN 6 News state Taylor pistol-whipped the victim in the head, causing an injury that required stitches. Taylor also allegedly fired two shots from the gun during the assault.

More accusations against Tucker. :amazed:

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker faces more allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior, as three additional massage therapists have accused him of misconduct, The Baltimore Banner reported Saturday.

In total, nine massage therapists in the Baltimore area have accused Tucker of inappropriate behavior. All the incidents reportedly occurred from 2012 to 2016, which were Tucker's first five seasons in the NFL.

In the latest accusations, one woman produced what she said was an internal report from 2015 about her experiences with Tucker. She told the Banner that Tucker stroked her inner thigh during a massage, would expose himself, and left what she believed to be ejaculate on the table.

She had reached out to a reporter about her allegations in 2015 but didn't continue over fears of retaliation.

The latest allegations come from three massage therapists who worked at the same downtown Baltimore men's spa. Through an attorney, the owner of the spa told the Banner that he was unaware of any complaints against Tucker.

In response to the new accusations, Tucker's lawyers told the Banner to refer to the kicker's social media post Thursday, when Tucker called the allegations "unequivocally false."

Tucker wrote that the Banner article "takes innocuous or ambiguous interactions and skews them so out of proportion that they are no longer recognizable. ... This is desperate tabloid fodder."

The Banner first reported allegations of misconduct against Tucker on Thursday after it spoke to six massage therapists about Tucker's behavior. Tucker's conduct, according to the article, caused some therapists to refuse to work with him again and resulted in two spas banning him from returning.

Tucker could be subject to discipline under the NFL's personal conduct policy.
