TV: General Anime Discussion (Part 3)

Welp, started season 3 of AOT late Sunday and finished that this afternoon.

Did not expect this from the basement:

I finished Pluto and it was bloody good, but there were some things I didn't like. The biggest one was the one-hour episodes, that came almost as a chore when some parts went really slow (the first two episodes especially). Anime just cannot be a one-hour segment IMHO besides movies. Unpredictability was off the charts, it made it super refreshing, but the ending was too cliche. A lot of stuff I was expecting to happen did, and that was a bit disappointing. Still amazing and I am glad that M2 got it. They did wonders.

I am currently binge watching Solo Leveling. Yes, it is dumb as hell and super cliche, but damn it is effing amazing.

Glad you liked Pluto! I totally agree with Solo Leveling, it's not anything we haven't seen before, but they just do it in such a way where it's so much fun. The Solo Leveling Abridged series on YouTube is pretty funny as well.

No joke, that's how I got into it! I was rewatching Team Four Star for like the fifth time and it kept coming in my recommendations so I gave it a chance and I loved it. Decided to then give the real show a chance.
