ok thanks Ill prob check out Frieren next is it on Netflix too?

It's sadly Crunchyroll only. They may have lower res versions for you to watch without having to spend money.

For Netflix, I can always recommend Violet Evergarden. A slow paced drama that has some great imagery and at some points, will break your heart.

For action on Netflix, then definitely Cyberpunk Edgerunner. Great shit there too.

This is a minor update, but Insomics After School is probably the best anime I have personally watched since Kaguya-sama. I don't know what lures me to this rom-com stuff, but this show is Your Lie of April 2.0 level of good. I am on the last three to four episodes so wish me luck.

If you plan on actually giving anime a chance, Crunchyroll is absolutely worth it. I watch more of it than any other streaming service. Also, @SolidSnakeUS gave you some great recommendations. All those shows are bloody fantastic. Cowboy is probably a top 5 anime ever, GitS was one of the best modern done animes, FMA: Brotherhood is claimed by some the best anime ever made, and Frieren's world is LotR good.

Yes, finally a Insomniacs enjoyer! Such a chill and wholesome show. It aired at the same time with so many great shows so it kinda got lost in the masses. Also don't worry about it, rom-com stuff is the best :D

Yeah, the show is so simple, but I seriously enjoyed watching it (definitely the best since Kaguya, but it could be because of expectations). The problem though is that I was reading around on the internet and it should have already had a second season announcement...but nothing has come as of yet. I dislike reading manga, but this is definitely one show I will read if a season second isn't announced soon. There is one weird thing about the anime that I forgot to mention, it has a lot of weird feet scenes. Not sure why, but it was super weird because I started to notice due to how many of them were there lol.

Gotta cater to everyone's needs I guess.

It is not unheard of that some animes take some time between seasons. Especially animes of this nature. There is source material still available, but I think the first season got a solid ending, if this is all we get. We still haven't heard anything from Kaguya either. I remember readong that with rom-coms viewership/readership tends to go down after the main couple gets together, which I don't get.

This is a legitimate question, but is One Piece worth ever watching? I randomly came across some of the show's openings, which are catchy as hell. In the openings, it shows some awesome adventure settings and I am a sucker for adventure shows. So, yeah, should I waste all that time watching it or spend that same time watching a million other shows I haven't given a chance yet? 1000+ episodes definitely sound more like a chore than actual enjoyment.

If you have the time, then sure go for it, seems like a lot of people enjoy it and I'm sure it's not that popular by chance.

Personally I don't have the interest to watch that long of a show. I have only seen the live action OP.

There's also a remake of the anime coming probably some time next year by Wit Studios, so I might watch that.

I'm on episode 11 and people complained about the pace, yeah I see it. Quite slow overall and mini arcs within main arcs. I love that it's an adventure and supposedly a lot of the arcs have summary episodes, which saves a ton of time. I might go down that route, but so far Hunter x Hunter is done so much better. A bit unfair to compare because OP was made in 1997 and HxH was produced about ten years later. I paused OP because I decided to rewatch Fate/Stay Night: UBW. Such a quality show, on episode four and it captures me a ton.

Dandadan ending as it did pisses me off, I want 45 more episodes at this point.

Fall 2024 didn't bring me personally many shows to watch so my recap is a short one

DanDaDan - 10/10
Just a ridiculous show that delivered the massive hype this show came with. Every character was amazing, but Momo Ayase instantly became one of my favorite characters of all-time. Shion Wakayama delivered back-to-back perfect VA performances with Momo this season and Lemon in Makeine last season. Out of the 12 episodes we get 11 absolutely crazy episodes and then one episodes that just crushes your soul. I was just silent for like 15 minutes staring at a black screen and the first words that came out of my mouth were that it was one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen. Just heartbreaking but also such and beatiful episode. I hadn't heard of Science SARU before, but they did a great job with the animation and clearly they had so much fun working with this. Yet another studio showing how overrated MAPPA is.

I've never seen this bad of a cliffhanger between season or cours but luckily we only have wait for 6 months.

Blue Box - 7,5/10
I'll give this a halftime review as the show will continue on for 13 more episodes.

Started watching this as I saw some early hype for the show and there wasn't much else to watch. Maybe the hype got to my head, but I found the show really slow and boring. Maybe it was the combination of romance and sports anime, but I found the romance part lacking and I don't care for sports animes. I found both of our MCs kinda meh especially compared to the side characters which seemed much more interesting. Not really much else to say about it. I think I'll stick with the show though as there isn't too much to watch next season, but we'll see.

I've been rewatching/introducing animes to my GF so I don't have much time to watch many of the new ones. I could give Orb a chance if I'm bored over the Christmas break. I watched a few episodes of Ranma 1/2 since I remember reading few chapters of the manga when I was like 10 years old, but the I had zero memory of the show and the show didn't hook me after couple episodes.

Winter 2025 has few interesting shows of course lead by the Apothecary Diaries. I'm sure I'll get a headache though rolling my eyes for all the Solo Levelling fans telling me how it's "THE PEAK", just like with season 1. This time I don't think I'll bother with the show though, but we'll see.
