The biggest steal of the round so far: a top player on a playoff team that normally would go round one currently going at the end of the second. This player is on every single list (except one), everyone jsut had other guys higher.

The top 5 picks of this round all have the same exact guys on their list in different orders.

One of the top 5 picks of this round will be disappointed.

Round 6 form is now open! Reminder we are doing shortened roster. This means 9 forwards, 4 D, and 1 G. There will be no safeguards in place to ensure you don't go over those limits. If you pick 2 goalies, guess one is going to have to be a skater.

Because I have issues and most likely some undiagnosed disorders, I have discussed with Gecky the viability of adding 2 days of depth to be able to create full rosters. This is how it will go down:

--- continue drafting a round a day (unless gecky decides to speed it up) putting us on pace to have 14 players on August 8th

--- after announcements on the 8th you will be able to fill out a form with a "depth list"

--- the list can be as short or as long as you like. it will be used for 3 rounds all at once. there will be an image of remaining players on the form to help. you can just say BPA and I will take the top guy remaining from the last draft board for you. if your list ends you will just be skipped.

--- there will also be a section for "positional restrictions" where you can say you want those 3 picks to only have 1 D max, you want 2F and 1G, etc.

--- I will then manually figure out the 3 rounds of the draft.

This will happen for 2 days (August 9th and August 10th) to give us our 6 depth picks and fill out rosters.

You are welcome for my burning desire for pleasing aesthetics

I'm very confused on how it would be possible for someone to go over the position limits in this game unless you purposely don't put players from positions that you need on your list in the final days of the draft.

with doing one day at a time yes, that would be unlikely

but with 3 rounds all at once you could put 3 goalies at the top of your list and get them all for example

So a safeguard is needed for that so lists dont have to be SO complex to avoid it

Yeah correct that’s how we knew they were fake. Just kind of a pain in the butt to clean up.
