WWE: GDT: Wrestlemania 41

Overall it felt meh, didn't seem like a WrestleMania.

I didn't see anyone comment on what seemed to be a Survivor Series logo that appeared before and after the replay of the Uso match.

Stratton and Flair was sloppy at times. Either on completely different pages calling the match or someone forgot the choreography.

Crowd was also meh from after the Uso match until Fatu and El Grande Americano brought life back into the building.

I was expecting more filler between matches. Not that it was quick but it didn't seem ridiculous, so that's a plus.

Opening WrestleMania with essentially an ad for the company who paid to advertise on the centre of the ring was certainly a choice.

I don't know why they had to show Dana White twice. Did they think there was no way the crowd knew who he was and booed so they tried again?

My buddy had it paused when I arrived around 7:10. Did someone sing a song when the event began? (God Bless America, America the Beautiful, The Star Spangled Banner, etc) On one hand it's usually something I would be happy fast-forwarding through however in a way it makes the event seem more important since it doesn't happen on any other WWE event. As many of you pointed out - even the entrances were mostly blah. Nothing overly exciting or entertaining. Nothing that made you say wow.

The show ended on a high note.

Jellyroll sang god bless America. It wasn't very good.

The US title match was pretty good. I think jade and Naomi did a good job. But yeah the main event was really the only match that seemed to match and deliver a Mania caliber performance.

Every match on NXT Stand and Deliver out performed the vast majority of this Mania card IMO.

Keep Flair away from Tiffy in the future. That match was so clunky, slow and filled with botches. They had no chemistry at all and it showed horribly. The main event was fantastic and truthfully the only match that delivered for a WM worthy match

Main event delivered, I thought Roman in particular was fantastic. Heyman swerve was predictable but they executed it well. Triple threat matches can get messy so hats off to the 3, master class in psychology.

Tiffany looked like she got potatoed a few times, not sure if that was ring rust from Charlotte or intentional. Rest of the card was meh, didn't feel like a WrestleMania, more like a weekly Raw.

One of the better triple threat matches in recent memory despite a fairly predictable conclusion. The whole match it wasn't does Heyman turn on Punk and Reigns but how does he pull it off. Once they did the segment where Rollins said Heyman now owes him a favor it seem pretty clear Heyman would help Rollins win the match.

The rest of the card didn't stand out for me. Didn't like how quick Gunther tapped out to Uso. Good to see Charlotte put over Stratton.

Sounds like it was a dud. So glad I gave this crap and the companies abhorrent politics up. First time in decades I didn’t get wrestlemania and don’t miss it one bit.

I thought it was decent, completely had low expectations though. I liked the Fatu match, enjoyed Gable, and Cargill's match was solid for what it was. The rest I could do without. Uso as champ cracks me up, he is atrocious.

Excellent main event even with the predictable ending. Like someone said, predictable or telegraphed isn't necessarily a bad thing. The only other match I really enjoyed was Fatu/Knight but wish they had been given more time. I'm a big fan of Fatu and always enjoyed his MLW work too. I know I used to shit on Knight but he's grown on me a lot the past year or two. Definitely a fan of him now. Gunther/Jey match was really disappointing imo.

I think there will be better matches tonight overall but probably a weaker main event. Really looking forward to the IC title match, women's 3 way and Drew/Priest. Styles/Paul will probably be pretty good despite Paul making me frequently cringe at him being a clown. Hoping someone interesting comes out to fight Orton like a new big signing or a big return even if it's a one off. I'm no fan of Cena or Cody but the ending could be interesting.

Whoever is fighting Orton, it feels like they have to lose, right? Unless they have something new planned

Most likely which makes me think it could be a one off appearance. Don't see Rusev losing in his return match but maybe he returns on Raw. Maybe TNA sends Flop Dolla to face Orton lol.
