Discuss. Rey Mysterio could be subbed for Rey Fenix(?) since Rey was injured on Smackdown.

its been the most boring lacklaster build up to a wrestlemania i can remember lol litersally only thing i care about is the triple threat . and jey uso getting his moment be cool also i guess. drew vs priest should deliever also.

The entire premise of the triple threat night 1 main event is that somebody’s manager is going to walk down the aisle with a different competitor.

Incredibly lame.

Not for me. Easter weekend is great timing. Plus it's clear they want WembleyMania and a later date makes it possible for the weather.

April 20th is way too late. Ik you’re a diehard WWE fan but imo it kind of killed some of the buzz.

I don't think the match quality matters personally if the build is god awful, and truly every single build has been awful for this year's WM except for Charlotte/Tiffany which wasn't even WWE intending to go that route.

I kinda zoned out this past week. Does Heyman still owe Seth a favour or was that already taken care of? I still think he helps Seth win tonight. I think the show will deliver despite the lackluster build. Hoping Cody wins but I think there's going to be a ton of shenanigans. Not ruling out the Rock having a factor in the match.

Sens game gets top billing for me on Sunday but I'll still watch night two here and there.

Having to come up with stuff to further each feud for another 3-4 weeks when compared to having WM around late March is a real struggle. Even more of a struggle when a lot of the card's competitors didn't work many (or any) matches in the 2 1/2 months leading up to the show post-Royal Rumble.

People complain about the build to Reigns/Rollins/Punk and Cody/Cena and the complaints were valid, not a single match worked between any of them during the build-up. Back in the day you'd get some 2-3 man tags, etc. etc. but all these 5 did basically was yap at each other on the mic.

It's basically load management that we see in sports. You don't want to have guys getting hurt. Rey Mysterio, one of the few guys who has been in the ring, does exactly that last night and gets hurt.

I get that but go back and watch the builds to older WMs and the top guys worked some matches leading into the big show. Austin, Rock, HHH, "Taker, etc all worked matches on TV in the WM build. They don't have to go out and put off barnburners or do risky moves. This isn't AEW with guys trying to kill each other on free weekly TV.

There is another way to look at it, what about ring rust? When did Cena work his last singles match? Certainly you don't want guys working every week but I don't think putting them in glass cases for months leading up to the show does much to sell the show.
