Knocking goalie to the ice is OK now?
His head first

Gimme a break, ok?

Okay? No. But it was unintentional, so no goaltender interference call should've been made.
Just drop it, we won't get anywhere :)

Anyone know what channel msnbc is on digital cable in the lake placid area?
try to go to the company's website. perhaps they'll have listings there. I can only speak for what they have here, in Brooklyn.

Russia is flying today and Swedes except for Mats look like their skates are glued to the ice. Boy when Russia plays like this they are something to watch.

Someone should make a poll:

What's your LEAST favorite part of this year's Olympic hockey tournament?

A) The watery ice?
B) The horrible refs?
C) The terrible scheduling?
D) The awful TV coverage and lame commentators?

Since I'm forced to watch luge instead of the last half of Sweden-Russia (but CBC shows Canada-Italy 3 times yesterday), I have a question regarding a penalty in yesterday's Slovakia-Russia game:

There was a play where Russia was called offsides, but Slovakia was called for tripping on a Russian player who was several feet inside the zone... so I wonder is that a correct call, to call tripping on a play that was already offsides (and hence play should already have been stopped)?
