Latvia is The Truth. The NHL should let them compete as a 31st team next year. No quit in this team. I'm halfway hoping they get rewarded with a quarterfinal berth, even if it comes at the expense of the U.S. Effort deserves reward.

I want Latvia to do well but not at the expense of the U.S. I'd rather be at the expense of Slovakia.
 
Great game. All about offence! Many goals, great passing playes, awsome individual plays. What else could a fockey fan ask for? I feel Slovakia will take this, but it wont be easy in the end. Slovakian counter attacks are deadly. ANyway. SARAUJ LATVIJA!!!
 
I'm watching this game on tape-delay, and Latvia scored a perfectly clean goal that was dissallowed in the first period. FFS nobody was even in the crease :madfire:

With perfect goaltending from Irbe Latvia would be among the elite teams.

Latvia is playing well and seem to be carrying the play, I enjoy their long pass attempts.
