Surely it was because the U.S. gave up too many goals. Or was it because we can't finish?

Jesus, I was wondering what the hell Waddell was doing when he didn't name Leetch to the team. What an idiot.

Why the hell is Hatcher on this team over Leetch? Same with Hedican. I can take Hatcher, but Leetch is the greatest American defenseman in the history of the NHL, he should be here.

Jason Blake should not be here. He can't hit the net if he ran into it.

No, you guys looked good. Guerin missed an open net. I swear, he couldn't score if he was the only man on Earth.
 
Malkin is like Abe Vigoda to Crosby's Lyle Lovett. Yes Malkin is better looking...but that's not saying much.

Blake missed an open net. I agree Guerin had a big chance, but it was hardly an open net. Should've scored though..
 
I think they watched how Sweden is playing with Slovakia and decided to rest him. Nabokov started to be sure in win over USA and if Sweden will play for real against Slovakia. It's all imo.
