I remember you and others gaslighting me for this opinion last time they made the decision.. and Laval played their worst game, Primeau gave up 3 goals (which is the same amount of goals Fowler gave up all series, except one of them shouldn't have counted) and they had to go back to Fowler.

They'll accumulate another L for this decision.

I believe Laval have another 5 days break after game 2.

They’ll probably rotate. Having 2 goalies this good who can steal games is a huge luxury. I just want them to win!

But you just cannot underestimate what *technically screwing over* your AHL starter that helped you even get there
Does NOT sit right with players in that room, it just doesn't matter what you say I'm sorry

It's not about 'don't care, primeau is not in future plans, management should only care about cultivating future talent'
This goes so much more beyond that

What's *right* is letting Primeau finish off his career with the organization as best as he can
Even *if* Fowler is the CURRENT better goalie even right now

The ONLY reason Primeau didn't start and play those Fowler games is ONLY because of the Montembeault injury

Fowler will be playing 50 AHL games next year anyway there is no point making it 'awkward' for the team just because we as fans want so much to see a 2007 Price miracle again

I think it's nuts to start Primeau when you look at how the team has played in front of Fowler but I will watching and rooting as you do not want to go down 1 in a 5 game series as game 2 would almost be a must win even though they would have every game at home, you hate to be in must win for all 3.

I would have opted to play 2 at home and started Fowler and not have dressed Gignac.

that's a fair point but to me with the playoffs you throw that kind of stuff out the window and just focus on trying to win. If Laval wins tonight then the coaching staff is going to look smart and if they lose then there's going to be a lot of questions as to their decisions.

I demand that the coach put the best team on ice in his estimation. They team played hard through 72 games and there are several prospects to develop, not just Fowler.

A necessity.

Montembeault was hurt.
Dobes was starting.
Fowler doesn't have a valid NHL contract.
Connor Hughes is hurt.

They HAD to start Fowler. Fowler took that opportunity and ran with it. They should have never taken the net from him for ceasing the opportunity he was given. They did and Primeau lost. He lost. 3 goals on 20ish shots. Fowler came back in and had a shutout if the rulebook was called correctly.

Why does Primeau get the net back? What has Fowler done with his opportunity to not get the start in game 1 of this series? He's 3-0. Primeau is 0-1 in a start he never should have gotten.

It sucks for Primeau that Monty got hurt and he missed his chance to start the series. But Monty did get hurt. Why is Fowler being sidelined when he's making the most of the chance he got? And again, Primeau had his chance to get the net back, and he didn't take it.
