  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I think the XenForo Cloud is problematic, as they're the ones which provide the platform on which HF operates. And apparently major data/configurations between 2024 and now is just gone.

I don't blame HF for that. Redundancies and backups should be the backbone of a forum.

The issue I have with HF is the ads which are resource intensive and I'm sure contribute to site performance issues. I get needing ads, when schlubs like me use the site for free, but there should be lighter ads. I'd take that, even if there were more of them.

I can't imagine they have many complex custom scripts to run this site, but that's a little out of my realm of expertise.

Get the uBlock Origin Chrome/Firefox browser extension on desktop and the AdGuard app on iOS and you won’t see most ads.

This issue goes back much further than their recent move to Xenforo over the last year or two, though I agree that this latest issue is on XenForo

The best game during Blakes entire tenure as a gm. Outside of taking too many penalties it was the perfect execution to beat the top team in the league. The stifling organizational defensive philosophy mixed with speed and skill with enough talent to score on your chances. Caps are also very physical and the Kings still were willing to take hits to make plays. This team is not soft like the years before.
There is a lot to build off from this game if they want to realize what it takes to win a playoff round.
