When you said tempo and not a way to entertain fans, I assumed you were talking about the tempo of the game and how it is not entertaining to watch a slower tempo.

I think Amerks have a bunch of similar type players. The only ones who look dangerous for them are Kulich and Rousek, and Clague's booming shot from the blue line. They're running 3 skilled lines and 1 depth line. Helenius, Ohstlund, and Rosen aren't standing out. Yes, they get points, but they're largely ineffective.

This is where I think Laval has the edge. Their line-up has a more varied type of players and the lines have their own identities. They're also more physical.

It's not to say Rochester can't win the next one and push it to Game 5. Because they definitely could. But if I had a choice, I'd rather have a roster like Laval than like Rochester. Because I think one is more suited for the grind of the playoffs.

Laval have the best supporting cast. I dream that the Habs build something like that. Their bottom 6F and bottom 3 D are awesome.

Dobes is a cross between Price and Hasek. He has some decent techniques but he also is all over the place like Hasek.
He is a work in progress and is not nearly a finished product. He is fun to watch. I like his fiery combative style.

I personally don't see any of Price in him. I think he may be the most unorthodox goalie in the league. Other unorthodox goalies have been successful (Hasek and Thomas) and Dobes has great athleticism, size and he's an ultra competitor. He's also young so we shall see. The skaters shoot better and are more creative than ever and often pick apart these types of goalies especially after they get to see a lot of them.
