Laval Rocket: GDT- Game THREE Rochester at Laval 7PM EST

The pieces HuGo just drafted, the crucial pieces
This is how you BUILD something

Slaf - 6'3 big skilled top 6 winger
Beck - future 3rd line center with jam and a shot
Hutson - do I really need to say anything?
(Engstrom and Davidson from '22 as well)

Reinbacher - 6"3 RD with skill and mobility
Fowler - Potential #1 Goalie
Flo Xhekaj - The dream Bottom6 forward

Demidov - Imagine lucking out this amazingly finally
Hage - Potential top6 Center
Protz - yeah I'm adding Protz, Fight me, he is Arber Xhekaj insurance for that 3LD spot

Now the 'trades' are still to be determined for the most part lol.. the next one better be spectacular for sure

But the drafting has just been, for my lifetime? Just, Man..
Feels good
Ok . . . but still should’ve picked Michkov.

Enter Owen f**in' Protz!!!

Outlook seems good, positive steps have been taken.
At the same time, all are prospects, except for the "veteran" Hutson!! (Slaf also):)

Spent a couple of hours this week looking around the league to see who has an expendable RHD that we could trade for and there's 9M for 3more years Hamilton or maybe one of the Marino, Durzi, Lamoureux or my personnal favorite Kesselring. Then you look at what these teams are looking for : Utah wants a better 2nd C to play between Cooley and Hayton down the line and NJD are looking for top6 talent.

For UFAs there's 40years old Brent Burns that TBH I would sign for a year so Mailloux and Reinbacher aren't rushed to the NHL. Then there's Ekblad who will receive about 10 offers. Fabbro that is still a question mark and should sign with CLB anyway.

That's about it.

Now do that for a small offensive winger that refuse to play a 200ft game and deliberately wreck his interview before the draft.

There's BPA but people never want to talk about picking the Most Valuable Player. Which is by far the 6'3" RHD Dman with top pairing potential.
