Laval Rocket: GDT- Game THREE Rochester at Laval 7PM EST

A year ago most of us had him penciled in as a top 6 forward. We raved about how his hockey IQ was extremely high.
What is up with him?
Not myself - I argued that he was far from locked in the top 6 over the summer.
I think it is a commitment issue personally. It's like hockey is his hobby not his passion.

Many a player has experienced fan expectations. Through the years with all organizations. C'est la vie. History seems to repeat itself during the decades.
He was a fifth round pick for a reason. Many first rounders never sniffed the NHL.

This lag between games is RIDICULOUS. I haven't followed the AHL playoffs before but I didn't think they were this bush league.

As for the team, I watched the game twice trying to see a hole, but it's not like they mailed it in. What is apparent is that they are facing a very strong team and they must raise the compete level and be effective on the specialty units or else they will be golfing...or is it bowling at this level?

Disappointed at Mailman not scoring on a great chance and not leading the offense. He needs to be a beast and lead them like he did in game 4 of the last series. This is where reputations are defined and careers are cemented. Leading the Rocket to victory leaves HuGo and SMarty with no choice but to recognize his immense offensive potential...and tolerate the occasional brain fart. See Hutson on that.

Last game he pulled a full Bobby Orr but didn't convert and failed to score when completely open from the mid circle. If both of those happened, we would have a choke hold on the series.

Every kid dreams of being the hockey hero, here is his opportunity to bring it to reality...MAKE IT HAPPEN M!!!!

Roy is extremely lazy, horrible backchecker, he HAS to turn things around.
I've seen Roy totally give up on a play and we were scored on. That is unforgivable in my books...yet they called him up the next game. Does anyone on the Habs watch the AHL game tapes? By chance they showed a long range shot from behind the opposing net and you could clearly see Roy giving up on the play and mentally waving goodbye to the opposing players.

Anywho, he was sent back down and so far, he's accomplished nothing...

I never payed attention at where Roy was drafted. Now it makes sense that they saw a huge hole in his game.
