Yup, pretty much... this is depressing...Fowler just as bad as Primeau.

The coach did something right when his team wins 48 of 72 games. Charlotte is simply a better team.My friend has been attending this series. Good observations:
“They were undisciplined and totally out played.
Florian is insane …
He is a combination of a lot of massive shit disturbing players …
Owen beck was the only player that stood out.
Rienbacher will be good….he needs more seasoning, he’s very young .
Mailloux tries to do too much …
The Checkers are a team filled with older players …
Just men against boyz .
They got under the skin of the rocket.
Both are goalies sucked …
That’s the bottom line …
Most notably, the hype about the coach …
I saw no discernible system…no adjustments…
And the lack of discipline is a direct reflection on the coaching staff …”
2 of them are 5th OA not much special as a atatSince 2022 Hughes and his scouts have drafted 3 players already in the NHL along with Reinbacher about ready.
No pick is guaranteed and the 62nd pick will probably win the Calder.2 of them are 5th OA not much special as a atat
Just accept the fact that a very young Laval team is being beaten by a superior, more experienced team.ABSOLUTE DISASTER...can't find a good thing to say about anyone.
Maybe the habs prospects with the Rockets aren't as good as we thought !?All the clubs must comply with the AHL veteran rules, I was just hoping our youth, most of them highly touted and decorated prospects would be more dominant against plumbers. I find the youngsters have no help from our veterans lile RHP, ABB, Gignac and Condotta, checkers have much better and bigger veterans.
NO ONE thinks any of then forwards are top 6 calibre. There are several good enougth to be excellent 3rd liners. If there were scoring line forwards in Laval they bloody well wouldn't need to look for a 2c for the Habs. This cannot be stressed enough.
Who were the forwards close a PPG in the AHL (my requirement for making the jump in the top 6)?
Laval is just a copy of the Habs with extreme lack of talent up front.
Apart from Reinbacher (and even then, questions persist regarding his durability) is a sure NHLer. Other prospects are long shot.
That's why I am shaking my head with people saying we need to trade both 1st, rebuild is over, blah blah.
Our prospect pool is nowhere near as good as we think.
Charlotte just swept the twice defending champions. They're clearly a wagon this year. Way to much negative prognostication going around based only on this series. Charlotte is not beating them on skill, but on experience, the little details that make up a good pro team. The coach did something right when his team wins 48 of 72 games. Yeah let's write off Beck after one AHL season...makes senseMaybe the habs prospects with the Rockets aren't as good as we thought !?
Beck has no future imo. The only potential future NHLers are Kapanen, Reinbacher and Xhekaj.
The top end guys are already in the nhl , aside from Maybe Hage
Demidov and Hutson just graduated.
The Rocket are 3-2 cumulative this series with Fowler in nets.ABSOLUTE DISASTER...can't find a good thing to say about anyone.

Laval prospects are being taught a valuable lesson. They can turn this series experience into a positive.Charlotte just swept the twice defending champions. They're clearly a wagon this year. An argument can be made that Slaf is more than a 2nd liner.I agree but even then we have 2 forwards that can be considered top liner (Suzuki, Caufield). Another one, Slaf who is a second liner and Demidov who has the potential to become a 1st liner. That means at least 2 second liners still missing. Whether Hage gets there in a few years is a big question mark.
It's going to take too long to write the entire thing out but I blame Vincent for not training a better defensive team.Just accept the fact that a very young Laval team is being beaten by a superior, more experienced team.
All the kids played great under Vincent. Best season in Laval's history can't be ignored and Vincent did a formidable job. It's going to take too long to write the entire thing out but I blame Vincent for not training a better defensive team.
We had a LOT of success playing like hyenas on the offense but unti the last third or quarter of the season we started playing better overall defense.
IF Vincent had them playing offense AND defense like hyenas. it would mitigate or even hide the smaller forwards inability to beat the larger, older checkers forwards.
We saw when I wrote about M and the last sequence of play. The forwards did not play a 200 ft game.
Vincent is not getting an NHL job until he realizes that he has to get better on building a 200 ft team.
They need to play him as a center IMO he's not the same player on the wing.Yeah let's write off Beck after one AHL season...makes sense
