Xhekaj is 6'4'' but only 204 lbs, needs 2 more summers of training to reach 220-225 lbs to be effective power forward in the NHL, big bro has 35 lbs on him.

So Mailman is playing...sort off.

Missed most of the game trying to get the game on the big tv. Without a mouse, i can't keep up with the streaming trash...

Checkers forcing the rocket D to make long passes with a 3man forecheck, its killing every chance to have a clean breakout. They need to bring both winger way closer to make a simple short pass so the winger can skate out with control. If they pressure the winger it can easily lead to a 2 on 1

When I see smallish, slow players like Farrell I ask myself why these types of players are drafted, same with why Mesar was drafted in the 1st round.
I guess they believe in physical development between 18 and 22, But Mesar and Farrell, they just small frame, it was obvious they would not get bigger and stronger.

Checkers have a strong mature team, not sure why you would build a vet team to win the Calder cup when this league is all about kids and development... At least it gives our guys a strong opposition and some adversity to push the pace at another level...

Let just say that in the 1st round, it makes no sense if the player is not elite. Later on...I have less problems with it. I had more a problem with Jack Smith than him...lol
