EK has been so much better on the PP breakouts as well. Instead of blindly dropping it every time he'll take the open ice if the pk is playing him too passively. And he also waits longer before dropping it.

Both things make the drop pass play actually work.

Imagine being stuck on the Sharks the last couple of seasons and then getting to play with Crosby, Malkin, etc…getting a rock in Pettersson as a partner. Damn right he’s smiling.

Comparing 36 yo Letang to 33 old Karlsson isn't fair these years are exactly when players usually start falling off.. However, i'm concerned of Letang's game he certainly haven't looked better than last year which was a big step-back
